Damn, losing to a D-II school? Exhibition or not, that's bad.

Although it's not on the record, UNC lost to Vanderbilt by 11 points on Sunday, and I believe NC State lost by double digits to East Carolina.

Oh, and Joxy can suck it.

These are "off the record" scrimmages not played in front of fans. However, I have already seen a leaked play by play stat sheet for the UNC-Vandy game.

This is why the BCS > March Madness in crowning a champ
Syracuse would be DONE if this was football

D1 scrimmages/exhibitions are glorified practices
Tulane whacked LSU in a scrimmage a couple years back and LSU whacked them in the regular season

Can't wait for some college hoops

it's not uncommon for D2 or even NAIA schools to beat D1's in exhibitions. AUM beat Auburn a few years ago and I think Mich State and Kentucky have lost to NAIA's in recent years

True. We played Dillard last night(believe that's in Louisiana). We started 2 walk-ons. D1 teams shouldn't lose, but it's not the end of the world. It's just funny seeing Syracuse lose to Lemoyne

the D2 team cares about the game a shitload and the D1 team just doesnt give a frick.

While it is embarassing, you have to realize that the D-1 teams are probably starting a couple walk-ons while the D-2 schools are treating the game like they're in the national championship.

Its fun to talk about but really its a exhibition game...Cuse might have been trying some wild matchups to see how the played together or something. Wont faze them a bit besides getting pass the embarssement for awhile.

Why don't you ask Gardner Webb?

I watched part of the game on SNY and thought that Syracuse would begin to pull away in the second half. Swtiched to election results and then I heard Lemonye won. Good for those kids.
