That the Saints won't go unbeaten, and The Saints aren't close to the Pats of 2 years ago. AND the Saints may lose SUNDAY night. Kinda funny he works for ESPN that has the MONDAY Night football game that the Saints will be on.

Yea, that's just lazy journalism.

ESPN is going nuts about Bush's comment that he thinks his team "could" go undefeated. I don't understand it. Could they not go undefeated? In fact, they are 1 of 3 teams who could.

And Kornheiser did mess that up. Hopefully Tony Riali calls him out on it at the end.

Korhiser is a douche anyway. I hated when he was on MNF. He was almost as bad as Dennis Miller. They both suck IMO

Kornheiser is just a TERRIBLE journalist....

But yes, REggie does need to stfu. Unless he starts putting up 50++ yards a game and some good returns on punts, he shouldnt be saying shite about what our record is gonna be. I love reggies optimism, but he needs to keep it to himself.

Probably not, but I'm ok with this. Super Bowl winning teams generally end around 12-4, 13-3. No need to be carrying that giant "undefeated" stone around your neck all year. It tends to get heavier and become more of a distraction as the season goes on.

As long as we get home field advantage throughout the playoffs, I don't care if we win 'em all or not.

yeah, we don't have any losses so Reggie saying that isn't absurd. whoever said reggie should stfu, should stfu.

Exactly. I could care less if they go undefeated. They are the SAINTS. If they get to the Super Bowl and I will be ecstatic.

Reggie was asked a direct question about whether or not the Saints can go undefeated. His response?

quote:

"Can we go undefeated?" Bush said. "Yes. I do think we have the players, the chemistry, we have the heart and dedication, the coaching staff, we have the players."

He went on to say:

quote:

...this team takes games one game at a time...

Which was, somehow, left off of all of the ESPN soundbites...

Now, regarding the MVP talk, he was asked a question about people who criticize and hate on him. He responded:

quote:

"Once I do win an NFL MVP, once we do win a Super Bowl, once I am in the Pro Bowl, it's going to be that much more special because of all the criticism that I had to come through and because of the work I've put into it, it'll mean that much more to me and I'll appreciate it more,"

Which means that he's talking about how hard he works and how he is NOT letting it bring him down, but that he's using the criticism to motivate himself.

Again, it's interesting that the part of the interview that doesn't get caught in the ESPN soundbites is the part where he says that he is his worst critic and that he gets down on himself more than anyone else when he makes a negative play.

But y'all can continue your pathetic little lives of hate.

What you said is very true...which leads to the fact that media changes things ALL THE TIME. Its annoying, but true.

Kornhiser has blocked out monday night football..the block wont even allow him to mention MNF. So he goes to the next closest football night.

Tony obviously has not watched many Saints games, he has no clue how good the Saint's defense is, nor how good their rushing attack is. He is talking out of his arse pretty much without any facts to prove his points.
