Does Bush's good/bad ratio justify him?

The reverse high flying leaping touchdown is arguably the biggest play we have seen from him so far this season; we have also seen a handful of bad plays from him in each of the games so far. It still seems like he is having trouble just going forward on returns and runs. Last week alot of people were calling for a trade, and saying he was overpaid.

Does him having a big play like this every 4-5 games cancel out all the crappy runs, dropped passes, 2 yard returns that he has every game?

Yes. His decoy and constant threat and presense on the field filled with numerous other weapons at any given time alone is worth it, now shutup. This is a team offense and we don't need it to be the Reggie show or the Pierre show or the Shockey show, or the Meachem show. They are all contributing!

Reggie's situation is almost comical to me now. I dog cussed that dude for 3 quarters non-stop, and then he was my favorite player ever after that TD

I mean he is what he is and that won't change no matter how much we bitch....he sucks arse most of the time but does have the athletic ability to make plays that change games.

yet if the double reverse won't have worked (like against Tampa last year) every fan would have wanted to fire Coach Payton.

Its the same love/hate everyone has for Reggie.

No. It turns my stomach in knots to see him in the game knowing he's more likely to fumble than to score a TD.

Will the Saints be able to cut him penalty free in the upcoming uncapped season?

I guess it might, if I constantly made Bush threads.

I think your incorrect grammar might justify that you are an idiot. But it might not.

I would say that has a little more to do with Brees than Reggie.

Does your refusal to scrool down this board and take notice all the Reggie threads make you a tool?

Yes.

I like Bush. Just don't understand why we continue to handoff to him when those carries could be going to Bell??? I like using Bush as long as its not as a traditional back bc he isn't one. Dude is a weapon when used right IMO

Here's a way to frame the argument.
If the Saints went back in time knowing what they know now, would they have drafted and signed Bush?
My answer... No.

You're right, they probably would have drafted Vince Young and said frick you Drew... you know... knowing what they know now and all.
