At least it should have been. This is not an ankle sprain. Think about it...if he's not cleared 2 days before a game-it must mean there are some things not quite right....Ithink ole Urban is just using it to keep LSU off guard...

who knows? i dont even think they know yet... everybody needs to show up early and be loud in pre game so he gets a headache and then he wont play... he might feel ok, and be able to take a couple hits, but the constant roar of the crowd might be what gets to him... we need for the stadium to be loud early and ALL NIGHT!!!!!

I am not a doctor, but when they are worried as to how he will tolerate the FLIGHT, it does not lead me to believe that will play.

I want Tebow to play...he will make this game more special.

With that said, I have a feeling that if he does play, LSU has a better chance of winning because I don't think Tebow is going to be "Tebow" at 100%... IMO...He isn't going to be lowing his head and shoulders on 3rd and 3..

I bet we get 2 picks off him because he is going to be little rusty... just a hunch

Lsu has to play at a extreme high level to win

hope it doesn't rain

Good point, I think you are right too!!! I also think that Brantley is still going to get playing time. This could a QB1 QB1a situation. No one really knows until game time. Go Gators

Tebow will not play. At 19, I suffered a concussion and even after two weeks, I had still not recovered fully. It was something I never won't to go through again.

Bait, I hope Tebow plays and is alright. He's a good guy. Best of luck the rest of the year, because we want an LSU-Florida SEC championship game.

With all due respect, my brain will ALWAYS be better than Tebow's brain.

Conan O'Brien went right back to work the very next day. Guess Tim Tebow is no Conan O'Brien...

If he plays, then the coaches aren't truly looking out for the best interests of Tebow or the team. The difference between a doctor saying "He can play" and "He's 100%" is not a gray area I'd put somebody in. LSU isn't going to pussy-foot around if he plays. They are going to hit him like anyone else when the opportunity arises (anyone who thinks LSU will be "head-hunting" underestimates the character of our players).

(TIME TO STATE THE OBVIOUS) Helmet-to-helmet contact is just one of many scenarios in which Tebow could aggravate his condition.

(BACK TO MY POINT) If he is allowed to play and takes another knee to the head, for example... He could sideline himself for future games (best case) or even cause permanent brain damage (worst case). Whether or not that affects the outcome of this season - who knows? Does putting a player at risk "in order to win" sound any smarter than "he wanted to play" when speaking to the parents of potential recruits?

If Tebow plays, my respect for Urban Meyer will be ZILCH.

Arguably, the worst sports comparison of all time.

What doctors have said is that coming back from a concussion is a unique thing. Once he's cleared he's no more likely to get a concussion playing one week after the initial injury than if he waited a month.

If Meyer plays him it will because 12-14 doctors cleared him 100%.
