I have had offers as high as $525 a piece for my other two tickets on the 5 yard line. Wow, this ticket could go higher hours before gametime. This is remarkable that people are willing to pay so much for one ticket...

we need people who are going to get loud in the stadium...not a bunch of rich people who are gonna sit on their hands and complain about people standing up

it's even more remarkable that people like you are willing to make a few hundred "extra" dollars that you probably don't even need just because your greedy. Do yourself some justice and offer the ticket to a less fortunate person that really loves LSU and not some "joe with the dough" that doesn't honestly give two shits about the game.

I will hold a yelling contest outside the stadium for face value. Whoever acts like the biggest donkey and screams the loudest, will get the tickets. FWIW, I would never make an LSU fan pay more than Face value on any ticket. That is wrong

I seem to remember them being close to that two years ago. Do not remember the exact number but we had extras that we sold for well over $300 a few hours before kickoff.

The weather will drop those ticket prices quickly. You may regret it.

What sucks is I let the two go last year for Alabama at face value to a man and when we sat down in the seats two new people showed up and claimed they paid 185 for each ticket. I hate scalpers.

So, an infusion of wealth renders one incapable of being a fanatic??? Are all poor people this myopic?

just cause someone has money doesn't mean they don't care about the game... and wouldn't be making their share of noise...

some people actually have to get a lil crazy just to make money... jus sayin'

and ya might wanta be careful about hatin' scalpers... its the 'merican way... called free enterprise, capitalism, laize faire... and silly economic words like that.... or maybe just let the gubment be in charge of distribution? spread the wealth? good stuff like that?

I know you didn't ask for all that economic b.s., but when you ask for a little of something, be careful what you're really asking for...

While I whole-heartedly agree with this, I can understand their motivation to a degree.

I'm frustrated because I know I would yell like a hyena for every defensive down, something I'm sure 80% of the people buying these tickets for will not do (I did this for the UGA game, and there were several folks not screaming with me).

On the other hand, I've got some relatives with season tickets and I just emailed them to see if they had heard of any extras around. We live 9 hours away but if there was a chance we could get a couple of tickets for about $100 each, we'd be there in 9 hours.

They replied that they were selling 2 of their $ tickets for a large sum on a ticket website. It's a little frustrating knowing that they'll most likely not go to people who will yell louder/longer than me, but I know my relatives have to contribute a lot of $$ to keep those tickets each year, and this one game will defray their costs considerably. So, frustrating but understandable I guess.

I heard from one of my friends that his brother-in-law sold his tickets for $12,000. He also heard that someone sold theirs for $28,000 in Stadium Club.

I gave my four tickets away to a family who could never afford it. I promise they won't leave and will be there in the rain. Just a small way for me to remember momma's words of wisdom about being humble and remembering where you came from ....
