Anyone see this article?
LINK

He warns that if defenses play as MSU did and played most of their defenders close to the line, he will open up the passing game. Why warn them, why not just open it up without saying a word?

Sounds like a plea to get teams to not stack the line so he can hopefully get the running game going.

B/c he knows we can't throw the ball so he is trying to use reverse psychology to help us run the ball.

Because like everything Miles says the truth is either the complete opposite/we have no intention of doing it.

In my opinion, a lot of people are waiting for our offense to get dangerous. No one knows yet where the strength lies and the offense is still searching. That leaves a problem for the defense knowing we have two studs at RB. If they stack the box, Jefferson could unload for 300+ yards. If they leave the middle open, the O-Line might learn how to block leading to a sick run game. You just don't know.

EDIT: And when this happens, everyone'll be back on Miles' D saying they knew it all along. It's easy to vault up you saying 50 different things to bump when it happens.

Miles would be better just to keep his mouth shut and concentrate on his O line and D line.......I don't UGA is too concerned about our passing game

Why close practice unless he was trying to keep our anemic offense a secret from fans.

My thing is this. Can our offense get better? Yes but you don't go from horrible to greatness in one game. So if anyone is expecting this team to all of a sudden break open on offense in any given game its not going to happen. I might be wrong but I just find it funny that he makes these statements. Its like his last attempt of trying to get something to give so he can establish a running game in which he is so loyal to. Do we need to run the ball? Yes, but if you can't do it well don't force what is not there.

It is called a bluff. And a rather lame one at that.

That awesome passing we did...where did they put us at the end of the game?

You would think he wouldn't, right? He is so tight lipped on everything it gets aggrevating at times.

and I only get aggrevated with him simply b/c the fans ( in part) pay his salary

I call it good gamesmanship. Georgia's secondary is horrible this year. I would love to see Miles open it upo this week and pass like crazy all night. This is one of our only games this season what we should be able to pass at will.

I'd prefer Miles threaten he'd quit if teams keep loading the box.

Actually one way or another, the fans pay 100% of his salary, but it directly though donations/tickets, or their general support which leads for corporations willing to throw down the big bucks.

Possibly to keep everyone from knowing how they can score on our defense.....how easy it is to run the ball against us?
