If Tebow were to play and have to decide whether or not to lay a good hit on him because it may kill him??

WTF? are you asking if its fair to hit Tebow because doing so may result in his death?

If so, I say yes. If life/death is actually an issue he shouldn't play in the first place. It's the SEC he's going to get hit.

If he is in the game, the LSU players aren't going to think twice about laying his arse out.
If he gets hurt, that is going to be on his coach, not a LSU player.

Emotional ethical BS is all off the table as long as you stay within the bounds of the rules, the second your opponent buttons their chin strap.

If he is on the field and cleared to play he is fair game.

No one wants to see anyone hurt...
but there is a difference between hitting as part of a game that's based on hitting and "dirty hitting"

If HE is that marginal, HE and HIS DOCTORS should say NO to playing....
if he is healthy, then it is part of the game.

I'm pretty sure if TT plays that the last thing on our players' minds will be TT's personal safety...

Any harm that would come to him would be because his coaches put him in a situation that he shouldn't be in. It would be no fault of any LSU player, unless it was an illegal late hit or something similar.

Didn't Ken Hollis frick up Erik Ainge's neck by throwing him into a goal post in the 2005 Monday game?

Urban wouldn't put him in that situation, but if he did, fair game.

If any player thinks about this they need to be benched. If UM decides to play Tebow & he agrees, then they are saying to us that he's good to go. If he's on the field, our players had better be gunning for him bc that's what they're there to do.

FWIW, though... I'm not sure any of our guys can hit him hard enough to matter, anyway.

you people make it sound like he has a terminal illness and is leaving his deathbed only to go back to it after the game

HE JUST HAS A CONCUSSION

Troy Aikman played with one basically his whole life...the QB position has been pussified

Most football players will get a concussion at some point. I bet this isnt Tebow's first.
