This is a great product. If Pomi is not available anything that says San Marzano is awesome.

Not their tomatoes, but I recently bought some of their vodka pasta sauce at Big Lots ($1.30 instead of $4.99) and it was the best jarred or canned pasta sauce I ever had. I now wish I had bought every jar they had.

Best flavor of the San Marzano tomato brands. Very little acid and you can saute the whole tomatoes down with salt, garlic and good olive oil and walk away. I do this at least once a week for dinner in about 20 mins with some Italian sausage over linguini. MANGIA!

Went looking for San Marzano Tomatoes today. Only found the 'Cento' Brand of San Marzano.
Does anybody know where I can find some 'Pomidori Pelati' San Marzano Tomatoes in Baton Rouge?

I have been using Muir Glen the last few times I have made a meat sauce for lasagna and I think it is one of the best. I use the very large can of crushed tomatoes and add more sauce or paste, Italian seasonings, salt, pepper, a little sugar(to take bitterness out) and fresh basil to it. It tastes so great.

The absolute best canned tomatoes are definetely Pomi available at most stores including Fresh Market and any San Marzano tomato is a very, very close second. I have a couple of Italian business associates who visit often and they introduced me to both brands and were suprised to find them here in most stores they visited.
