I'm really craving some, is it too early?
Have you made any yet?

My wife made a pot this past Sunday. I was craving it pretty bad too.

It's cooled off quite a bit up here, and I've still got a pound of wild hog sausage in the freezer. 'Bout ready to pull the trigger.

It's getting close for me...probably in the next couple of weeks.

I made one on Sunday. For me, Saints season = Gumbo season.

As soon as football season starts.

I crave it, make it and eat it all year round. I have AC, so the outdoor temps don't matter to me. I'm trying to eat the freezer supply of chicken and andouille to refresh that soon. I've got one more container of shrimp gumbo, sans the shrimp, so I need to make a good stock and make that again as well. I just add fresh shrimp when I heat up the base of the gumbo. Had gumbo for lunch today.
