Let me try and throw some logic and sanity into the board for you freaks:
1. Washington last year had lost Jake Locker for most of the year, and obviously they have a different head coach, so new philosophy, new scheme. We really don't know WHAT Washington has. Why don't we all agree that we'll be "WARY" of how we performed, but save judgement til about four games in to see where Washington stands?
2. Vandy under Bobby Johnson is a different team. They have steadily gotten better each year under him. Last year, they went to a bowl game and WON, for the first time in forever. Lets try and get over our age-old stereotype that "Vandy sucks, everyone should blow them out" and just like UW, wait for another two or three games and see how they REALLY look this year? Maybe Johnson really is a good coach and has that program running well?
3. Our quarterback just turned 19. He's a talented, passionate 19 year old, but he's still 19. He's not Matt Mauck (for better or for worse), he's not Matt Flynn (for better or for worse), he's still technically a teenager. He's got less STARTS than FINGERS on one hand. Having said that, he looks GREAT. He hasn't hurt us. He's been trying to get the ball into our playmaker's hands. Let's let the kid grow some more.
4. Whatever drainage system we have, it was still wet and nasty out there. Everyone knows that rain is an equalizer. It slowed our talent down and took away a bit of our strength, but we still won by two touchdowns. Great, we won. We didn't throw picks, we didn't look atrocious out there. Next game please.
5. If NONE of these factors have occured to you people, then you need to read this:

And he did almost nothing to actually give them the win. They got 1 of their 2 TDs on a 2 yard drive where they ran it 4 straight times to get in, and the last one he had ONE legitimately good pass, which was very nice. Otherwise he did jack shite the whole game and got most of his yards from YAC, especially from McKnight.
Furthermore, USC likely has the best OL in the country hands down this season, so that helps.
LSU is 2-0 beating two BCS opponents by 8 and 14 points and people are complaining. Sheesh.

Okay, you forgot the most important stat.
J.Lee has appeared in two games and not thrown a lee. He's 2 for 2 on the year!

The numbers weren't great either. One of the young QBs in that game had to win anyways.
Most of the people on this boards are fricking retarded when it comes to football.

I love JJ and think he will be a great QB but he is by no means a Matt Barkley. They are two entirely different QB's in differnt systems.

BTW, I agree with your OG post.

My words, Exactly! After the game was over, I told a friend of mine that USC didn't win the game, Ohio State just blew it. Also, there were a lot of posters on here who said that this dominant USC team would destroy Ohio State by 3 touchdowns. USC better be on their game when they play UW because I have a feeling that UW will be ready to show up to play.

By the way how many mistakes has JJ made 0 (wish I could make it biger) he dosent throw into traffic, he dosent force balls, all he does is give us a chance to win.

You are, of course, referring to the perennially over-ranked and over-rated tOSU. JUST SAYIN'

And nobody is claiming JJ did either. Both are learning and developing. Barkley is a more natural/polished passer coming into college. tOSU has no passing game with Pryor at QB, so teams stack the line. USC was sending 5 or more rushers at him almost everyplay, and it shut down the run by doing this.
McKnight played extremely well tonight, and tOSU is extremely overrated this season.
