Who went to the game? Great memories of getting to that game. Pregame rain was epic.

I was there...you are right....the pre-game rain was a DELUGE. But it was very disheartening to see the half-empty stadium at kickoff. A lot of people packed it in and went home instead.

I still laugh at the memories of walking thru the portal when we first got there. I looked across the field and the student section was doing the wave in the torrential rain.

But I had some killer seats when they finally kicked off.

+1. First, and likely only, time in my life that I got to sit in the Fat Cat seats... 50 yard line, half way up. Sweeeet!

I was there. The worst rain storm was ULM in 03. The game started, then they stopped it for about a half hour and started again. MSU in 04 sucked because it rained for about 30 minutes and the sun came out and it was hot as balls.

I remember pretty much swimming through the Quad on my way to the game. It was my first time up in the suites - it was nice to be high and dry (although I was soaked walking to the stadium).

Was at The Chimes, debating whether to head to the stadium or not, concern was whether lightning was going to delay the game or if it was going to keep being a waterfall from the sky. Then we look up, the rain has stopped almost, and we see, on TV, teams taking the field. We chug, haul a$$ to the stadium.

I was at that game, sitting at the top of the north endzone. Rain was coming straight at me, parallel to the ground.

The worst rain game I've ever been to was the Miami game in 88. Since I was in the band I had to stay till the bitter end of that shellacking.

I was there and had to pay $40 for two ponchos because all the cheep ones were "sold out". Pick some great seats on the 50 halfway up.

You could see the storm coming right before the game. When it hit, you could literally not see the other side of the stadium.

I was at the Fresno game; it was the Band Reunion game. I had a poncho, but I didn't know it was torn until I put it on. I got soaked anyway!

I also was at the Miami game in '88; it also was the Band Reunion game. My brother and I were sitting in the stands with a biblical deluge upon us, the Tigers getting killed, and he turns to me and says, "Are we stupid or what?"

Ha! Ha! I guess we were!

I was there. Had a great time. But, if I were sober at kickoff, I would have never made the game.

i remember being under a tent on the concourse of the pmac. i was sitting in a chair and had my feet propped in another because there was literally 4 inches of standing water. i never thought it would be possible for that to happen on the concourse.

i felt bad for the people from fresno who came to get the great tiger stadium experience. ditto for oregon st

I was there. Sat under the little upperdeck overhang to block the drizzle and never had to put a raincoat after kickoff.

If I remember correctly, it was an 8PM kickoff for TV, instead of 7PM. It poured until 7:50, stopped raining, and didn't rain again for the rest of the game. If it had been a 7PM kickoff, it would have been delayed until 8PM anyway.
