Just to avoid the confussion on Saturday, after the band marches down the hill, they are going to peel off and go play for the TAF at the PMAC and then march into the stadium. We will be in the stadium an hour before kickoff instead of the tradional 2 hours.

Just letting everyone know!

That used to seriously piss me off when I was in TB. Those rich bastards wouldn't even clap after we got done busting our balls for their enjoyment.

Stepping off for my first pregame was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Stepping off for my last one was one of my saddest.

Congratulations. Enjoy the time you have in it.

My daughter will be making her first trip down the hill and first pre game on Saturday. I'm almost as excited as she is.

Are you sure that the band won't be going down the hill near Graham hall to enter the PMAC on the Northside, then also exiting on the northside and marching towards the indian mounds to get back on the traditional route down the hill and into the stadium?

This is how it has been done in the past.

Cherish every moment. It was major fun. Ask some of the upper classmen how bad last year sucked. Thats the reason so many of you new people made it this year. Year before last 35 piccolos got cut. This year? like 4?

Anyway, I was in TB for 4 yrs & graduated this past May. I miss it sometimes but am looking forward to my first game in TS in 6 years as a regular fan. Going to be bittersweet.

But believe me, the time flies like you can't even believe.

We will be loud!

We were just informed today at practice that it was changing this year. We will be peeling off to the PMAC AFTER we march down the hill. I dont like the idea but its what the TAF want.

I call BS.

The GBFTL gets a standing O for every show in the PMAC.

The same time at 4 i think??

But it is also due to the directors. They dont want us sitting in the stadium in the direct sunlight and heat for 2 hours like the band usually does. Going to the PMAC after we play 'hold that tiger' kills an hour, or thats what the directors told us today at practice.

That part is nice. We sat in the sun for like two hours before a ton of games in the past two years. It was ridiculous.

And the PMAC ppl are always appreciative and happy to see the GBFTL. Whoever said they aren't is full of it. I didn't care for the performance because the day was already exhausting enough but I can't say that I didn't feel appreciated in there.
