Like we really just had a bad day on the first game and we will come out and just destroy Vandy and play stout D. Any takers or was last night a sign of things to come?

I really do think Locker is as good as any QB we will see this year besides Tebow of course.

If the defense had only played poorly in this one game, I'd write it off to a bad night. Problem is this has been a regular occuring thing for the defense for the past season and a half. That is just too much to be coincidence.

Me. Long trip, pacific time and some great coaching by Washington, all could not defeat the Tigers. The Vandy game will be much different. I cant believe all the negativity after this game.

We had a slow start in the first half.

We did not play poorly in the 2nd half. We weren't scary great, but we were good.

Watch it again ...

our lines could have played better but we didn't run our real offense yet. Our defense should have made better tackles but the encouraging thing to note is that most of the time they were there to make the tackles...just didn't wrap up.

yea earlier I was being a huge negatiger worrying miles was really what bama fans have always said he was, but now im looking at the game again and even though we statiscally got murdered, you could tell our big boys were jet lagged and I think that was the main reason for the poor line play. Like every run Washington had we got contact at the line but just didnt make the tackle. Nevis and Downs are gonna be beast in their own time zone though.

I think a few guys who have been on the roster a few years took an off night. Only gave optimal effort about half the time. Watch the offensive and defensive lines in particular.

why? Do you really think we played to our potential last night. I mean there are little things that will make us a ton better football team on both sides of the ball than what we saw last night.

Just my 2 cents but I think the trip and the time zone difference really messed with the players. Bad idea to travel that far.

We need to stop them on third down.

You know your team is in trouble when your fans start blaming the poor performance on 'time zones'.
