Two reasons why I think that, although we'll win Sat, I have no reason to talk blow-out. Yes, Germans, but just a friendly reminder to those with short memories re: season openers versus middling PAC-10 teams.

Oregon St. W 22-21 (OT miracle win)

Arizona St. W 35-31 (miracle win)

Do we need to remind you of the circumstances surrounding that game?

Well to be fair Arizona State was moved due to Katrina and was not even a home game. They were also ranked #15 at the time so I do not think of them as middling Pac-10 team.

OSU and ASU were both ranked in the top 25. How did LSU fare against those bad Arizona teams that are much more comparable to UW's current team?

did those teams go 0-12 the year before we played them?

Washington is not a "middling" Pac-10 team. They went 0-12 last year. Even with expected improvement, they will have a hard time going better than .500 in conference play. If they go 3-6 in the Pac Ten, I think they'll probably be happy with their progress.

461 passing yards against an inexperienced secondary.

Your "point" sucks since you are trying to compare top 25 teams to arguably the worst BCS team in 2008. Again, how did LSU fare against a very crappy Arizona team on the road?

I guess you just decided to ignore the two total dominations of Arizona?

Be sure not to bring up the AZ game in '03. I mean really, why not try to tie in every close win for the last 10 years while you're at it.

How about Les v OOC foes with time to prepare. Sorry nega, Katrina doesn't count as time to prepare. Go worry alone pal

Why don't you post the scores of our past two opening games as a friendly reminder? Does the pac10 have LSU figured out or something? Do they know our super secrets?
