I, ___________, will speak up and intervene the next time I see a Tiger fan boo one of the players during a game. In no circumstance should a collegiate player be ridiculed for any reason during the time they are playing football for a university that they love. I, as a fan, should be honored to witness some of the greatest years of LSU football in the history of LSU football. Geaux Tigers.

I don't have a problem with booing college players in major programs because of what they have handed to them.

Again with this? Was this not beaten in to the ground enough last season?

IMO, if you pay money to watch a game (especially the type of money it cost these days) you can show your emotion however you see fit so long as it doesn't effect someone else (including swearing like a jackass in front of children all game long). If I'm disappointed in the product, I boo. Period. College and NFL.

I don't do it and I think it makes us look bad as fans, but I can understand the reasoning behind it.

eta: So I guess I'm contradicting myself a bit, because I do have a problem with us looking bad as fans, but you get what I mean.

Please don't renew your tickets if you have them. I'd like to know how you justify booing 18-22 year olds who work hard and play their hearts out, especially given the fact that I'm sure you could do better.

Let the coaches handle it. That's their job, not yours.

I don't really think that's our call as fans -- that's what we pay the coaches for. You should be in the stands to support our players, not demean them.

And if the player has done things off-field that I am offended by/don't agree with?

just throwing this question out there-

should we not boo the other team too, since they are college kids also?

(Sorry for double post)

Professional sports is a totally different game IMO. Once contracts and agents are involved, egos and senses of entitlement skyrocket. In that case, boo away.
