I _____________, will boo whoever the hell I want to. I will also leave the game early if the defending national champs are getting the shite kicked out of them by Troy.

As long as I'm paying for my ticket, I'll boo whoever the hell I want. However, I'd never boo when a player gets hurt...I.E Lee

I blew out my "boo" vocal cords during the Hallman era. Now I just scream and throw things to show my displeasure.

With how college football players are celebrated these today, i.e. interviews on espn and the sign day circus, scouts.com, espn top 150 - if these players can't take the heat get the frick out...same thing in the corporate world, you can't deliver you get fired...life is not a cake walk..

Some people's real punishment for their nasty behavior is the squalid nature of their pitiful little lives.

These are not successful human beings.

These are the "5 percenters" who serve as Cautionary Tales for the rest of us; the shirtless people on Cops, the ones who troll for tail at truck stops, the ones who got LSU tickets from their Uncle T-Roy but never got past 9'th grade and scream "Jarrett Lee is a fig" as he comes into the game.

Don't worry about these people.
Karma gets em in the end much better than you ever could.

Pathetic
They are given a chance to work hard and play for a school they love. They are given a free education. As long as they are doing their part in class, you have no reason to boo. Plenty of people are on scholarship at LSU. Do you boo them when you see them fail in other areas of life? What if all your mistakes were under a microscope?

Fans support the team and the crowds DO play a role in the game, as far as i'm concerned.. booing your own players is helping (or cheering for) the opposing squad.

..I hate to say it, but college football has become NFL jr (at least the big time programs-LSU, USC, Ohio St.)..It's not so much about the education with recruits today, but more about how the college can be used as a spring board to the NFL...now if your booing at a YMCA, it would be a different story..

A student athlete should NEVER be booed - especially by fans of his own school. These are kids, and they don't mess up on purpose. No one feels worse than they do when they do mess up. If I were a recruit, I would seriously consider whether I wanted to play before a fan base that treated its players so poorly. These kids work hard; they need/deserve support.

Best post ever. I feel better knowing that this is probably what the vast majority of LSU fans that support and show pride in their UNIVERSITY think.

Hell it is just a football game, one that we all want the best outcome possible of course, but none the less, a game. Aren't we all there to have a damn good time, be with friends and family, cheer our team, and support the University we all love. If you cant enjoy yourself with all the fun associated with the game and refrain from booing....well, you are just a sad, small person. I will be damned if I will let the performance of a teenage kid affect my mood for longer than about 2 seconds.

But I guess the 5 percenters see it different.

What percentage of LSU players will ever make a living playing football? Definitely the minority I suppose.
