Anyone else upset about this ESPNU crap?

I'm a student so home games don't matter which channel they are on but c'mon. I'd rather it be on CBS so most people can watch it.

Be glad that Vandy and ULL are on ESPNU otherwise it would be pay per view or nothing

I actually prefer to have the LSU games on one of the ESPN family of channels. Here in Montana, when LSU is on one of the major networks, the game is often superceded by one of the local University's games. Last year, almost everytime LSU was on CBS, I missed all or part of the game because they were showing the University of Montana Grizzlies game. That never happens when LSU is on ESPN or one of its affiliates. Plus, ESPN usually allows the games to be played at night, while CBS moves them to the afternoon.

I'm ecstatic about ESPNU because otherwise those games would either be PPV or not offered at all. It's not like the Florida or Bama games are on ESPNU.

The CBS games are shown live on cbs.sportsline.com, in case that happens this year.

Did you attend the Arky game 2 yrs. ago? It was a home game televised by CBS and it sucked. Yeah it sucked b/c LSU lost but there were so many fricking TV timeouts that there was no rythem to the game. I swear half the game it seemed like the teams just stood around and you cold tell it frustrated them and the crowd. Screw CBS.

There, fixed it for ya, mainly because of this idiotic thread. Because of ESPNU, these games are NIGHT games dude. In previous years, the Vanderbilt game could have likely been moved to that 11:30 kick, seeing as how Vandy played in and won a bowl game last year and it is not all that attractive of a game.
If you are at the game, what the hell difference does it make who is broadcasting the game, as long as it is under the lights???
