tough.

1. Cali

huge, huge gap.

jumble Lousiana, Texas, and NY (NYC carries the rest of the shitty food areas of the state), and maybe Florida?

really a tough call. I'm tempted to put in SC or GA b/c of low country proximity combined with sould food and BBQ.

Louisiana
New York
Cali
Jersey

Those four are no brainers.

FLA/ILL/TEX/SC/PENN can all be argued.

ETA: I think you can argue Ga and maybe MASS or Virginia as well.

Fla.

Not even close. All their food is bland. Not salt, seasoning. If they didn't have Cuban food it would be even futher down the list!

I hate whenever people from LA try to assert that no one else knows how to season food properly.

Maybe the problem is your fricking taste buds.

same here. Tony's has fricked up too many people in La. Sometimes seeing what the main protein actually tastes like is a good thing.

It is basically an extension of New York. Also, I haven't been to Gino's in way too long and am craving great Itallian food. (Red sauce, not creole.) Jersey has plenty of that. Lots of great ethnic food, too.

used to live in Hoboken. I have to say i never went to NYC for italian b/c it was better and a fraction of the price in Jersey.

And Heady, the back of Hoboken and Jersey City has tons of Peurto Ricans. Some dirt cheap, great food in the right spots.

The food there was definitely much better than i expected.

He is right though IMO, most food that I've had in Florida-mainly in Miami and the Keys was underseasoned. The food was cook fine but just didn't taste like much.
