I think the top 4 are pretty easy to figure out.
I would think the battle for 5th would be between Miami, Philadelhia, Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando

IMO, this depends on what you consider to be a "food city."

To me, a food city means the city has a unique food culture all its own as well as a wide selection of food options from everywhere else (including fine dining options).

In other words, I don't consider cities like Dallas or Vegas to be "food cities," although there are numerous 5 star/michelin rated places in those cities. Dallas feels like a cookie-cutter megacity to me. And Vegas is loaded with fine dining options, but that's where it ends.

Thus, I'll go with the following:

(1) NYC
(2) SF
(3) Miami
(4) New Orleans
(5) Chicago

I agree, Clooney...not to mention, the quality of home cooking would factor in and the amount food is talked about and obsessed about...

Food cities would be NOLA, NYC, San Fran...


Better title for this thread would be top 5 restaurant scenes.
