It's always something with RJF. Not that this is his fault, but stuff always follows this kid.

Damn! There was a thread a few days ago and the first thing I replied was "Staph".... but then I changed it to "Swin Flu"

From what I've read it may have started with a spider bite.

Every stinking person who comes into LSUHSC Shreveport with a staph infection claims to have been bitten by a spider. I have yet to run into said spider or anyone who has seen it!!!
It must be one bad MOFO.

damn people

you guys care way too much about athletes personal problems or medical conditions

damn I know a dude on the side of the road that has it. Do you care?

I mean come on

Yall put these former Tiger athletes on a pedestal. I could see if it were a major player or something, but RJF is a nobody in the professional sports world

If it was a brown recluse, it IS a BAD mutha. An "open sore" bite area would be bad news in a staff prone sports locker room.

Geez, you got to wipe down the benchs before you use them. It's not Rocket Science

Spider bites are overdiagnosed. The majority are just staph infections resulting from a break in the skin.

That was my point. Most if not all of these staph infections are the result of a skin break or folliculitis not spider bites. It's just funny how many people say it "must have been a spider that bit me".

Well, staph infections are happening with more frequency and more people are dying from it. Just touching your skin with a dirty hand can introduce the staph infection. All it takes is touching a doorknob and then wiping a pimple or something. It's all too common.
