There are similarities between these guys. Remember when Stafford was a Freshman, he had lots of interceptions and Georgia fans were ready to run him out of town. Of course he was the first pick in the draft last month. Not saying Lee will be as good, but the guy has the potential to be a solid starter in the SEC and I think before he graduates, he WILL BE THE STARTER. I know many/most of you will disagree but the guy has tools and skill sets to be pretty good, needs to make better decisions.

Jarrett Lee will be a solid backup the rest of his career.

He's an injury away from the starting job... if that's what you mean.

No one would disagree with that.

The fact of the matter is however, Jordan has done more to deserve the starting job right now. I would say most understand that.

Most QB should look good with a month to prepare. I'm not convinced after two games that Jefferson is better....he just didn't turn the ball over..yet.

If Lee is the QB for LSU this year, then y'all best be able to run the ball. Here's why. He doesn't have the arm to make the 12 - 15 yard out from the far hash. Most SEC Db's will pick it unless there's a blown coverage. Therefore, the routes which a receiver(s) on the wide side of the field are restricted. SEC D coordinators will see this too.

Dude actually has a hose of an arm. That's not his problem. He telegraphs his passes, and throws into coverage. It's that simple.

I agree, his time will come again and I think he will make the most of his opportunity. J. Lee was put into a difficult position last year being that RP was dismissed during the summer and he had never made a start. Right now is Jefferson's time though, he deserves a chance. Regardless we are in a better position this year than last as far as the QB spot. Last year we had 3 unknowns- this year we have two guys with big game experience who I think will both have better seasons.

You can say alot of things about J.Lee but "no arm" is NOT one of them. FAIL
