1. Hitting "skippy" Keyes in the foot. That oughta keep his arse from skipping home from 3rd for awhile.

2. Hitting "wood" to take out the ace leftie. Karma's a bitch. NOW SIT DOWN while we rack up 7 runs.

3. Maineiri allowing Coleman to close it out after opening it up this year. Class act.

4. Chad Jones hanging around for 2 innings.

5. "Christening" the new Alex Box by winning the CWS the same year.

6. The homerun that just kept sailing...into the night

7. Buzzy, McGhee and Pontiff on the field for the final 3 outs.

Chad jones two strikeouts in the 6th inning are what I'm gonna remember this game by. When he struck out the first guy and did some funky jump dance and then we he struck out moldy did a little hop-step shoulder shrug off the mound and then sprinted to buzzy begging for the most badass chest bump in the history of ever.

I also loved how gibbs started running towards the dugout as soon as he caught the third strike. He was halfway there by the time the ump called strike 3.

Gotta be one of my favorite LSU games played in any sport. I keep adding to my list as I think of things..and someone on another thread pointed out that Wood is the dickhead who told our player to "Sit down bitch!" after striking him out.

One of my favorites that has not been mentioned was the smile that disappeared from Auggie's face when Ochinco hit that homer.

Why was Augie even smiling down 6 before the homerun?

Why was Augie smiling in his DUI mugshot? Some things just cannot be explained.

Watching who limped more off the field Kevin fairy skipping Keyes after cramps and being hit in the foot or Wood being drilled by D.J.

I agree with you 1000000%. Keyes getting the cramps was karma also for doing the stupid skip home. Poor Fella can skip his arse right back to Austin with that Big LOOOSER sign over his head..

i didn't get to watch the game. Listened to Hawthorne instead. Top of the 6th friendly Jim is chastising Mahtook for taking 5 straight pitches, two of which were strikes. Paraphrasing: Mahtook is really struggling. This at bat is horrible. The tigers need him to move Mitchell to second. I don't think this freshman can do it.

Mahtook promptly doubles deep in the gap as the words are barely fading from Hawthorne's lips.
