I agree. Although we got there at 7am for LSU's first two games of the CWS and got exactly the seats we wanted, I'm thinking Friday will be a little more hectic with the two biggest fanbases playing on the same day (LSU and Texas, not to mention Arky which probably has the 3rd largest fanbase here).

We're planning on getting out there in the reserved line about 6am Friday. Hopefully sooner if we can all get our asses up.

i was out Monday morning at 7:05. It was drizzling, and a Monday morning, and i thought i would be fine. I ended up with some obstructed view seats which really werent that bad, but not ideal.

i think tomorrow is gonna be crazy. I regretfully will not be able to soak it in.

yeah, that was probably me. I think we were in Section J, row 26ish if I remember correctly.

You not here anymore? Went home? I'm having a blast man!! It's pretty cool cause my younger brother (25yo) went to Texas so it's cool that we're both doing well.

my original plans were to come up at this point in the series, but my bro goes to USM and when they made it we decided to go up earlier instead to see them. When they lost, he went home. Everything was on a whim..1st timer, so we were kind of feeling things out.

meanwhile the hotel bill started to pile up, and the waiting in line thing for everything kind of got to me as well as the long layover between games. Great for LSU, not great for a fan I know im going to regret, but yes i came home this morning.

It was indeed a blast though. I will be back and better planed.

For those trying to get tickets from LSU: I got an e-mail regarding championship tickets. In a nutshell, LSU is guaranteed only 700 tickets for the championship round but they are working to get more. LSU won't know if they'll be able to get more until our opponent is known and they declare how many tickets they need. The opposing team has until 3pm on Sunday to declare if they will return any tickets.

People on Ticket Exhange are saying don't buy from stubhub, etc ... that there will be plenty of tickets ...

Anyone there think it's wise to wait until you're in Omaha?

And when you go to get in line for reserved tickets what is the parking like???

Thanks.

And JPLSU, I've got your number if things don't work out for us soon!

As early as possible. Certainly if you get in line at 8am you'll definitely get into GA no problem and have your choice of seats ... front row? I dunno. Obviously, the earlier the better, but if you REALLY want first or second row I'd get there at 6 or 7am.

I'm not a GA "expert" because we don't fool with the GA anymore. I hate to tell you a time too late and you not get the seats you want, but if yall get a good night's sleep get out there as early as possible. Take a throw away cooler and fill it with beers.

Parking's no prob that early in the morn. Later in the day parking becomes more of a hassle, but don't worry you'll see 8 gazillion signs for parking. Of course, for Friday, you'll probably just stay in your morning spot all day because we're the 1pm game.

Feel free to call me if you have any questions/concerns. I'll be sitting in my LSU chair in the reserved line from 6am to 11am, so I won't have anything else to do, lol. WE'll actually probably see each other in line!

I got in the GA line for Right field a little less than 3 hours before gametime for the Arky game on Monday and I was able to get seats in the 6th row about 50 feet from the foul poll. (Dean's homerun buzzed right over my head. )

So for people saying 4 and 5 hours... that's not necessary. It may be a little more crowded earlier tomorrow, but get in the GA line around 10 AM and you'll get great seats.

Boat...what time you getting in line for GA tomorrow?

We're not doing GA, but we're going to try to get out to Rosenblatt at 6am for the reserved line. It's going to be a long day tomorrow, that's for sure because we gotta stay for the Texas game as well for my brother. HOPEFULLY we'll have Saturday and Sunday to chill out and relax.

I'm in KC right now during the break in LSU's games, but we're driving up there before 7. I'm hoping to get in line a little before 10.

Left field seems to fill up quicker than right (probably because of right field looking into the sun at 6). I'm getting in the right field line tomorrow hoping more people want to sit in left field, even though the sun won't be an issue tomorrow. Like I said I got seats in the 6th row in right by getting in line 3 hours before the game.

But in conclusion, I'll try to get there between 9:30 and 10. That should be alright.
