Moscow, Russia to Baton Rouge for the 2000 Football Opener (W. Carolina).

This one is sort-of a technicality. I specifically scheduled the end of a three month work assignment to coincide with the start of College Football.
Moscow - JFK - ATL - BTR

JPinLOndon (you bastard), has me beat by quite a bit, but my travels are nothing to ignore. I traveled from Corby, UK, to London, UK, to Newark, NJ, to Memphis,TN, to Birmingham, AL, to Auburn, AL for the 2004 auburn game.... Now that was a letdown...4847 miles...

Tempe, AZ for LSU vs ASU baseball series a few years back. Great weekend with my dad. Great campus and stadium. Two great baseball programs.

Watching Tack Minor kick the ball across the court against UAB's press disgusted me to no end. All we had to do was slow down the pace and let Bass go to work and we win that game.
One of Brady's finest moments.

Furthest for me was BR to Fayetteville for the SEC season opener in the spring of 04. Jaime, Bass' coming out party, and a win on ESPN primetime.

Or BR to Athens, GA for basketball. They whooped us, Harrick's last year.

South Bend Indiana for the 1981 Notre Dame game.

For some mysterious reason, then AD Paul Dietzel decided to send the ENTIRE Tiger Band to that game, instead of a much more important S.E.C. game at Auburn. They bused us all up there and right back directly after the game. We stayed in Fort Wayne Indiana the night before the game and got up real early and bused in for a brief Pep Rally on the ND campus and then the game. As soon as the game was over, we got right back on the buses and came home. Wasted money and a horrible trip because they didn't give us anytime at all to see the Notre Dame campus or anything. Lost the game 27-9 as well. At least we got to perform on the field in ND Stadium..............

Drove to Omaha in '97. Parents gave me a week long there for graduating college. Said I could take a friend and they would pay for it. Took the friend I most enjoyed watching baseball games with, my grandpa, and he wouldn't fly. My grandma said we couldn't go see the Tigers without her so at 22 yrs old I went with my grandparents. Coffee pot was turned on at 6am every morning. I wouldn't trade that trip for the world.
