If we win first game with Ranaudo....

I would start Ross in game two. For one, Coleman would be available in a close game and two, if we did lose game two, we would have Coleman vs their number 3 in the deciding game.
What do you think?

Already been discussed ad nauseum. i want Ranaudo and Coleman out there in 1 and 2. Throw our best and walk away.

Not gonna happen.....Coleman is going game 2 win or lose.

NO, we should start Coleman, so he can pitch one more game at the box.... and win the super for us

Surely, redshirt, you knew you were going to get slammed when you posted this.

Red Shirt...appropriate name. Take the year off to grow and learn and come back next year to post.

Are you fricking kidding me?

Not a bad idea at all. It would be a huge psychological advantage for LSU. Don't underestimate that when it comes to baseball OR teenagers. Looking at the big picture, it is also a great opportunity to get Ross more big game experience that will help LSU next year and the the year after.
Are you kidding? The scenario is "If we (LSU) win the 1st game. You think Rice is going to counter with their #3 in a do-or-die game?

If we pitch our #3 on Saturday, what makes you think Rice wouldn't counter with their #3

How do some of you fricking morons manage to function on a daily basis? What in the frick even made you think this was a remotely decent idea?

I would agree if Rice had a stud lefty, but their aces are both right handed pitchers, so I would go with Renaudo and Coleman.

I would start Coleman in game 2 because I would want to win it without going into game 3. We can always use Ott to close more than 1 game.

I think this is a good plan!
