I would start Ross in game two. For one, Coleman would be available in a close game and two, if we did lose game two, we would have Coleman vs their number 3 in the deciding game.

What do you think?

If coleman came in the close game after Ross and then we lost......We are fricked.

Not gonna happen.....Coleman is going game 2 win or lose.

Red Shirt...appropriate name. Take the year off to grow and learn and come back next year to post.

Not a bad idea at all. It would be a huge psychological advantage for LSU. Don't underestimate that when it comes to baseball OR teenagers. Looking at the big picture, it is also a great opportunity to get Ross more big game experience that will help LSU next year and the the year after.

If we pitch our #3 on Saturday, what makes you think Rice wouldn't counter with their #3

Are you kidding? The scenario is "If we (LSU) win the 1st game. You think Rice is going to counter with their #3 in a do-or-die game?

I would agree if Rice had a stud lefty, but their aces are both right handed pitchers, so I would go with Renaudo and Coleman.

I would start Coleman in game 2 because I would want to win it without going into game 3. We can always use Ott to close more than 1 game.
