SEC/LSU arrest trend

I hear about all these players from Arkansas, Florida, etc. getting arrested and in some university's cases many players arrested.
I think it just goes to show that Les Miles and the LSU coaching staff are doing something right with these kids as the majority of our players never seem to run into the law...or at leas tthat we hear about.
Thanks Les!

It has been a quiet off season this year. It has been nice..

OKay screw all of you because we had one high profile player get in trouble. Compared to these other teams who have 3,4,5 or more players who get arrested...give me a break.

When did RP get arrested???
Posted on 6/2/09 at 4:00 pm to DollaChoppa
You people really need some meds.... He was just stating that compared to other schools, it's relatively quiet at LSU....not that it wont happen, but compared TO OTHER SCHHOLS....
Holy shite, I picked that up, you goons did not?
And to reply to killercoconut, I agree, something is right at LSU where at other places is not.
To the rest of you who just like to disagree and argue just for the sake of it...GFY!

RP actually proves the point:
By dismissing his star QB from the team (and suffering a down season as a result), Les Miles showed that he was serious about discipline and would not tolerate bad behavior from anyone.
Anyone who thinks that this year's "quiet" offseason is pure luck isn't paying attention.

This is an interesting subject.. Does anyone have stats for the numbers at the different schools?
My wife seems to think that Miles doesn't know how to control his players and blah blah blah.. She thinks that Saban would've "never have let it get to the point" to where RP needed to be kicked off the team.. I said it took extreme discipline and vision to make such a high profile move.. but she doesn't like that answer..
So if someone knows what the arrest numbers are for Alabama as compared to LSU and wants to help me win the first argument of my 3 year marriage (that is if LSU's numbers are in fact lower - if not keep it to yourself).... feel free..

RP, Shamorri Clemmons, D. Odom, Troy Giddens and that big offensive linemen are the only ones I can think of that got in trouble under Miles.
I have to admit, our guys are doing pretty well though compared to Florida and UThug.
I wonder what Vandy's football player arrest rate is?

RP got arrested for fake ID. He who is without ID sin, cast away...

To be accurate, he was not arrested.....he was issued a misdemeanor summons.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU backup quarterback Ryan Perrilloux has been suspended from the team indefinitely after he was cited for trying to illegally enter a riverboat casino in Baton Rouge. LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette said Tuesday the 20-year-old Perrilloux was issued a misdemeanor summons by police after allegedly trying to use his older brother's driver's license to enter the Hollywood Casino.
