Collins. I think he's the best back to ever play at LSU.

Faulk. Atleast I'll know I'm not in prison.

Everybody talks about Collins potential. I will take Kevin with his production.

Faulk in every format.

in a pickup format he is much more versatile.

in a real game i want a guy that i know is durable, and can perform when opponets have a lot of film on him yet he still performs.

Diesel was sick in the couple of games he played, but who knows if he could deal with a full season's grind, or had the smarts to adjust when teams start to key on him.

i'll take the sure thing.

In a pickup game? If they are both present just waiting to be picked? Collins and it isn't close.

If I'm calling up guys to show up later on it gets more dicey. Collins is a beast but he may decide he has other things to do without telling me.

Over the course of a season it's Faulk and it isn't close.

Faulk... I am thinking Cecil is still in stripes or watching chicks sleep.

What a goofy question... Faulk... the only possible answer... that is, for those that have ANY freakin' brains, and/or are not in prison... sheesh...

not very far from the "who would you pick in a bar fight?"

of course every ones answer is mike tyson at the age of 20 (or however old he was in his prime).

that being said? in his prime?....collins, without a doubt

Just remember that in a pickup game you gotta face whomever you don't pick. I'd rather face Faulk, so I'd pick Collins.

The issue here is not performance. Faulk massively out performed Cecil in college and in the Pros. The issue is "potential". Cecil had enormous potential but never lived up to his abilities or the expections.

Faulk took full advantage of his God given talent and Cecil peed his away.

what the hell kind of 'pickup game' are you talking about?

bunch of frat boys standing around who 'wanna play some f-ball' and up walks Kevin and Cecil who want to play too???

That would equate to Kevin v Cecil one-on-one.

So the question comes - which one could more easily tackle the other one?

I pick Kevin for that - I think he would be able to stop Cecil at least once - so Kevin's side wins.

If it is an afternoon game, I pick Collins. If it is a morning game I pick Faulk. Collins would still be too groggy from watching the chick next-door snoozing the night before.

i would take cecil collins over kevin faulk when it comes to running the football. he is the best back i've seen to carry the football for LSU. He also is the most stupidest shithead to ever carry the football for LSU. There have been some good ones(faulk, hester, williams, davis, gajan, hilliard etc) but cecil collins IMO, was the best. He did not get much PT, but just look back at some of his videos.
