In this thread, you can say anything you wish to JR or his family and I will print it out and pass it along this weekend.

(please keep it appropriate)

JR's the best QB in LSU history and I want to thank RayRay for sending him this way. We are lucky to have him as a part of the LSU community.

I grew up in Mobile so I was accustomed to hearing Ray on the air. He would always be a "celebrity" judge or emcee at events for my high school.

I saw him walking out of the stadium in Knoxville in 2006 and introduced myself, he was thrilled to meet more LSU fans from Mobile and talked to us all the way back to our cars. Just a few weeks later I saw him outside of the stadium in Little Rock after the Arkansas game. He actually came up to us and made sure we were able to take a photo with his Nephew.

Always a great guy, very sad to see him go.

Real LSU fans know what we got to see when JaMarcus was here: the best QB in LSU history. It was an honor to be able to watch JaMarcus play and we're all forever grateful to Ray Ray for getting him here.

RIP Ray Ray and my condolences go out to the Russell family

Prayers with you and your family JR.

Ray Ray should be proud of the young man he has influenced you to become.

Keep fighting the good fight

To the Russell family:

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

Truly a sad day in LSU family history.

JaMarcus was the best QB i've ever seen.

I met him after the Florida 2005 game, and he was also one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.

I'm sure Ray Ray had a lot to do with that.

Thoughts go out to the Russell Family.

God Bless J.R. and the entire Russell family. I pray you are strengthened by the Father during this very difficult time. As many others have said, Ray Ray brought a special player to our LSU family, and we are grateful for that.

Met Ray Ray at Jerry's Cajun Cafe-Pensacola, Ray Ray brought JaMarcus and a younge nephew over on a Friday evening of one of our bye weeks.

You could tell right away he was JaMarcus'(and the young nephew's)keeper. Class act all the way. All of them. I'm sure he had that effect on all the family.
He stayed in touch(emails and phone) throughout that season about Jamarcus and the Tigers. One of those you never forget.

Big loss for the LSU family, the Russell Family and especially JaMarcus.

The whole LSU Tiger nation is behind you and your family. Once a tiger always a tiger and we don't forget that.
Thanks for all that your family has done to the community.

JR you know you will be the best, I wish we could have had you play in the South, but I feel like your big year is coming up soon in the NFL.

You are a good peron, a great athlete and a very accomplished person. I hope nothing but good comes to you.

Best wishes Zach

JR was easily the best QB ever to wear a Tiger uniform.

We should all be eternally grateful to his uncle, Ray Ray, for helping him choose LSU as his college of choice.
