LINK

LINK

Started every game he appeared in between 2004 and 2007. Did not play in 2008. Probably a longshot, but I'm guessing one of the holdover DTs may get released now.

52.5 career sacks for a DT...awesome career...but does he have enough in the tank?

Hahaha....so funny and original. I've never seen this said after the Saints sign a player. You're clever.

Coleman was a beast for the Falcons. I know the Saints had trouble guarding him (yeah, I know), so maybe he's read to get back to form.

Saints adding depth and competition on our D-line. Given the way our D-line has performed the last 2 years, this isn't a bad thing

you are exactly right, listen to what he said...

Rod Coleman said he knows he'll have to prove himself to the Saints' coaching staff this spring and summer if he is to earn a roster spot. But he said he is refreshed and rejuvenated after spending last year away from football.

He admitted that he didn't get a lot of interest around the league because of questions about his age and health. But he found a believer in Saints defensive line coach Bill Johnson, who worked with him in Atlanta.

--more new personnel networking beyond GW

Worth a shot, if we can get 1/2 a season out of him and Morgan near their previous levels we'll be a full player improved from last year.
