16-6 today. mercy rule was called in the 8th.

weekend scores -

11-1 Alex Fuselier gets the win (2-0 3.70 ERA)
13-5 Zach Osborne gets the win (1-2 5.14 ERA)
16-6 Greg Wilborn gets the win (2-0 4.62 ERA)

Les Smith gets the series MVP nod from me. He went 8 for 13 over the weekend with 3 homeruns.

no one expected a sweep, our hitting had been pretty bad until this weekend and our pitching was slumping. both were fixed this weekend.

Henderson - I was driving to Lake Charles Sat. morning and caught the Tony Robicheaux show. What the hell was that ???? Who is the guy hosting that thing?

that was the Mr Bitter show, he just has Robe on every saturday during the season. Robe's official show is on Monday nights. Bittter is awful, I'm just glad that I have so few opportunities to listen to him.

Also, Les Smith hit an absolute bomb in game three, and Wilborn threw really well, with 4 or 5 scouts there clocking him until about the 4th inning.

Nice, I hope the Cajuns continue to turn things around and make the post-season. Personally, I'd love to see them make the BR regional. It would be interesting to see how ya'll would fare against guys like Ranaudo, Coleman, Ross, etc. A mid-week victory is nice but the post-season would be a true indicator. Good luck.
