Just now, he was talking about LSU's "impressive victory over a Butler team that has played very well this season," and how "that sets up a nice matchup with UNC" and then he talked about the uncertainty over whether Ty Lawson would play or not.

UNC will probably rest Lawson. They will need him for next week.

They have to say that. It won't be a pushover, though.

LSU is going to get rolled by UNC??? POSSIBLY...BUT... great detailed prediction pal..way to go out on a limb and put yourself out there. acutally buddy, Carolina's last loss was in the ACC tourney to FSU who is a mirror image of us(LONG, ATHLETIC, GREAT SHOOTERS) because UNC couldnt handle their length. and athleticism. They will struggle with the same issues against LSU. If UNC plays their absolute best game, they will win... but their hands are more than full. LSU wont get rolled. pay attention to other teams not just to LSU and then maybe you will be a little more knowledgeable about ur points and understand strengths and weaknesses. Any yoyo can say LSU will get rolled by UNC. be more detailed

Geez some of you guys need to wake the hell up and realize this team has a legit shot if Lawson is still hobbled. Quit buying into the UNC hype. Damn.

Seconded.

But that shot goes from "legit" to "highly unlikely" if Lawson is playing and effective...

UNLUCKY... I Couldnt agree more. I think that people feel that if they go against the home team that it simply makes them look more like a legitimate analyst instead of taking the time to actually look at the game and its matchups. The TIGERS have more than a shot.UNDERDOGS? without a doubt..SHOCKER IF THEY WIN? NO

So, how do you geniuses feel about 10-seed Maryland? Would they have a chance against UNC? FYI ... Maryland beat UNC in Chapel Hill this year. So explain why LSU has no chance.

in the words of sam cassell "north carolina is a wine and cheese crowd" just look at hansborough most points in the acc of all time... most free throws made and attempted of all time

I'd say LSU is as good as UMD and FSU.

Hansborough just took over as the all-time ACC scoring leader, edging out none other than J.J. Reddick ... and we all know how Reddick ended his college carreer.

Of course they're going to say that it's a "nice matchup".

What do you think they'll say..."oh, don't bother watching our network when they play...you'll do better to watch Jerry Springer"?

If UNC were playing a girls junior-high team, CBS still has a contract that requires them to show it...so they're going to say all that they have to say in order to get people to watch so they can keep their advertisers happy!

We were mirror images of FSU in 06 too. They were the prototype of beating Duke in 06. History repeats itself?

What would you expect them to say, being that they are broadcasting the tourney?

"If you want to be entertained watch a rerun of the Joy of Painting as the UNC Tar Heel - Bayou Bengals match up will be cruel and unusual punishment? "
