I'm not predicting a win by LSU, but UNC could have an out-of-sync day, or TH could get into foul trouble or get injured, or any number of things happen. The entire team could get a 24-hour bug.
However, dreams aside...
Let's just hope Ricky J-F doesn't have a protege anywhere around...
I'm realistically predicting UNC but hoping that LSU has the best game of the year regardless.

I have LSU going to the losing in the Elite 8 against the Zags. I think they will come back to form shooting the ball and upset NC.

I agree with the part about beating UNC, but if we will lose to the Zags, it would be in the Sweet 16, but I have us beating them to make the elite 8 than losing to Oklahoma

Hope springs eternal. If we can get inside and can hit some 3's, we should at least get to play NC. If we play like the last game we'll be eatin popcorn on Sat. watchin the rest of the field.

What the hell, if that Glen Davis team could get there, after beating #1 Duke and # 2 Texas, who says this team couldn't do the same thing?
We do have some #1 ACC seed beating history on our side, something psychologically, that could effect UNC. Bobby Knight is right about the mental aspects of the game, that are overlooked far too often.
This is where great coaching comes into play. A master motivator like Pitino, for example, can do his thing regardless of where he is (well who can or does actually "coach" in the pros? - no one) His coaching is like having a 6th man on the court.
