Watching the baseball classic got me thinking - what would your lineup be on offense, as of today, if there were a World Football Classic?

It’ll never happen, but for argument's sake let's say you can pick 3 QB’s, 4 RB’s, 5 WR’s, and 2 TE’s. Here’s my lineup (forget O line unless you want to list those as well):

QB

1. Peyton Manning
2. Roethlisberger (Brady not picked due to injury)
3. Rivers or Brees

RB

1. Adrian Peterson
2. Brandon Jacobs
3. Michael Turner
4. DeAngelo Williams

WR

1. Fitzgerald
2. Moss
3. Hines Ward
4. Steve Smith
5. Calvin Johnson

TE

1. Gonzalez
2. Whitten

You could get an American High School All-Star team together to play against the other countries

Canada for one, but I think they'd have to make a rule stating anyone who currently plays for a CFL team is eligible for team Canada. I don't know how many good players in that league are actually Canadian.

you go play in the CFL once you don't get drafted or catch on with an arena team

That game would be a serious raping

basically none. They could pull Jesse Palmer out of ESPN to throw the rock for them.

Australia would have some punters. That's about it for any other countries though

So is the US against Angola in basketball. I never said Canada could compete. I just said they could field a team. No other country could.

Had no idea that even took place. If i'm reading correctly, we beat South Korea 77-0 in the first round? How bad would our NFL all star team beat that squad? HAHAHA. We might score 300 points on offense.

Looks like Japan gave our D list squad a run in the title game but we pulled it out 23-20.
