What are LSU's season records for these? Does anyone know where we stood in the HR record season after 9 games? We have 18 now through 9 and if we keep that up we will be over 100 through the regular season.

we hit 188 in '97 and that record will never be broken, by any college team... and Larson also hit 40 the same year Berkman hit 42

That's just crazy for a team to hit 188 HR's in a season. Anyone know the RBI total for that 97 season?

That team was ridiculous! I remember beating the crap out of Alabama for the national championship. Mike Koerner the lead off man had like 22 homeruns. LEAD OFF!

Uh huh, that was a good year for the sec in baseball. I mean every year, the sec is the best baseball conference. But that year was extrodinary, half of the college wolrd series was sec teams. Also beat alabama for the sec tournament championship as well. Ah i love beating alabama!

9 guys on that 97 team had double digit home runs. That's rediculous.

false.

Only 2 SEC teams have ever won the CWS. Guess how many teams have won it from the Pac-10
