good read. Not sure why they would be investigating Brown's "amateur" status. don't think I've heard of this being done for a football recruit. The only possible senario would be if Brown is paying Butler as an agent. Wonder if some bad blood developed at Miami this past week and triggered a tip to NCAA.

BE CAREFULL LES! WE HAVE A GOOD THING GOING AND DON'T NEED ANY shite!

Butler caused concern in college coaching circles by charging for recruiting updates from his Web site.

Rivals doesnt mentor the recruits or steer them in certain directions based on which U's alumni are donating to the site. (excluding Bama of course).

I Was talking to someone alot older than me, someone who has followed LSU for 50 years or more. He said look out , wherever Brown goes , is going to start an investigation.

As far as LSU goes this will be one of the cleanest recruiting efforts ever. I don't know if there is anything dirty with his recruiting with anyone, but because we got in late no one would do anything stupid with the amount of scrutiny this is getting. We would back off if we sensed bad behavior.

who knows. i initially said that the Browns should just swing by Indy and let an NCAA investigator carpool with them to the school of Brown's choosing. In these tough economic times carpooling just makes sense.
