I got the new spreadsheet for properties Whitney has in their foreclosure department.

Ascension Parish, property on the Miss River for $14,500?? Might be a good place to build that mud hut or treehouse for the hard times.

That the few I looked at in Mobile/Gulf Shores/OB are still all over priced at those levels.

Agreed. The list price for each property I looked at appeared to be 'fair' market value. I think a real 'buy' comes from making a low offer which is then accepted or rejected.

I'd still say wait till this summer.

My buddy bought a 4 BR Condo in Seagrove Fl short sale for $900,000. The unit next door sold for 2.5 million a little more than a year ago.

I still think he is insane.
