If Nuss is still available in the 6th at 190

Should the Saints? I understand it’s not a need per se, but there might be some logic.
The issue with Shough in college was injuries. If he gets hurt, we know what we have in Rattler and it isn’t good. Haener is worse than that. Rattler probably won’t be re-signed down the road, so maybe take Nuss as a QB2? Coaches would know what they have in him.

Probably unpopular but why not at least for a 6th maybe 7th.
Not the worst thing in the world to have a developmental QB. Rattler wont be here soon enough and Wilson is hardly a guarantee himself.
And before it gets brought up I couldn't care less about LSU.

Which I also wouldn’t be opposed to. Nuss is the “best available” at this time which is why I brought him up, but I’d be OK looking at a backup other than Rattler.

I hate Nuss more than anyone, but he was a potential number #1 QB prospect before his injury last year.
Taking a flyer on him wouldn't be the end of the world.

Why would you hate a guy who went out there game after game, knowing he was injured, and gave it his all? If you're going to hate ANYONE, HATE BK!!! He was the 1 responsible for running the team. He shouldve sat Nuss to begin with, let him get healthy, or figure out the issue. CLEARLY the LSU medical staff couldnt figure it out.

I'm a big Nuss fan but theres no point in having 4 qbs. Id rather him go somewhere he has a shot at starting in a year or 2.

He was hurt all last year and the scheme was horrible. Hes better than some of the QBs drafted already.

Ever since that 2024 aTm game where he threw the game in the 2nd half and was complete arse the remainder of the season, I've disliked him. He was either wildly unprepared or was doing it intentionally (it looked THAT bad).
I'll take back a bit of what I said about him this year because I didn't know about the injury, but I never cared for him since the latter half of 2024.

Knowing what we know now, I agree with you about 2025. See my previous post. I was never able to come back from the hate he caused the last half of 2024. I'm a bitter person about it still. I'm seeking therapy.
