Kelly really did suck.

Almost through 2 rounds, 1 player picked and he was a transfer in last year. It's not just this year either, the draft numbers for LSU have been down significantly under him especially in an era where you can go out and rent a likely first rounder. Just one more thing you can point to to show how bad he was at LSU. There ought to be a few 1st rounders alone next year.

I can't think of a metric other than total wins where Kelly outshines Kiffin and Kelly has been coaching for probably 15 years more.

How many Ole Miss players have been drafted so far? I’m glad we have Kiffin but draft picks isn’t the best argument.

Daniels won the Heisman in '23 and Nussmeier was picked by some before last season to win it. If Nussmeier had stayed healthy, Kelly would still be here.

The players knew! They didn't leave when O was fired. They left after Kelly was hired.

No he wouldn't. Nussmeier was just one problem. LSU couldn't run the ball because LSU's OL was just about the worst one in the SEC. Plus, Nussmeier even being healthy..he still wouldn't run past the LOS. If you don't have a QB who is willing to take off and take easy yardage, you aren't going to have a good offense. Oh, and Sloan was the worst OC in the SEC, so there's that.

I heard him myself say it on his radio show repeatedly the week before we played ole mis last season and he also defended it the week after we lost to them.
Eta: I actually like Moscona's show but he definitely gets it wrong sometimes and this was one of those times.

Kelly's teams were weak in the trenches. I haven't seen our oline get manhandled like that since before Saban.
