The City of London is not London. It is a one-square-mile medieval enclave with its own laws, its own government, its own police force, and its own mayor — separate from the Mayor of London. It operates outside British law by design. It is the global capital of offshore banking, money laundering, and financial secrecy. Every corrupt oligarch, every rogue intelligence agency, every dark money operation on earth runs capital through it. It has operated this way since the medieval era. Pressure Britain to annex it. Force it to comply with modern banking regulations. And watch trillions in dark money get flushed out of the shadows and into legitimate markets.

I mean are we now bargain shopping at the Dollar General Conspiracy store???

Besides everyone knows it ain’t London….its the Holy Roman Empire and the House of Medici that controls the world.

There’s an incredible amount of nonsense, cloaked in surface level factoids.

The City of London is not in any way outside of British law or Westminster’s jurisdiction, or outside of the United Kingdom.

Is it a separate, semi-autonomous (from London—not the UK) piece of broader Greater London? Yes. Nothing is weird about that.

London was, and arguably remains, the center of global finance for the past 300 years because of *gasp* the British Empire and the UK’s rock solid political stability backing up pound sterling.

His live replay shows have long Intros that you need to fast forward (past all of his chatoom shoutouts)

He does a long intro on his live shows to get people with notifications in the chat before he starts talking about the actual news. The guy has been 1000% spot on about every single thing that has happened the past year

Here's the segment where he talks about the City of London

I would pay money just to listen to you and cajunangelle get drunk and talk about all the conspiracy theories that you both believe. It would be exciting for about 10 minutes.

No. It’s two dragons on the shield and then two giants, Gog and Magog

That should get conspiracy loons going good in this thread.

Add BoarEd (AlterEd) and ThinePreparedAni and I’d pay $25 to watch them for an hour if liquor is provided.

Are you seriously going to call ANYTHING a conspiracy theory at this point?

This isn't a conspiracy theory. The City of London isn't a borough of London. While it's geographically part of Greater London, it's a literal corporation (and its own county) with laws, elections and processes that are alien to every other part of Britain.

This sounds like a great recipe for my podcast vol 2.0

To the point that it’s a capital of money laundering and financial secrecy? As someone who works on some international financial transactions, I just don’t see that being the case.

Eh. It is.

Correct. Mostly because no one lives there, it has a population under 10,000. It’s unique because it’s just a bunch of banks.

It is in no way outside of British law or control. The Lord Mayor and Council aren’t sovereigns and are in reality local leaders same as anything else. It is unique, but it’s really no different that Port Authority zones or Free Trade Zones insofar as commercial interests participate in governance.

The City of London is possibly the perfect "kernel of truth" scenario for CTs

It is strange and unique, and by posting those truths, people extrapolate shite to infinity from that base.
