You forgot the part where the convicted was represented by SFP, who stated - 'Justice has finally been served. This will prevent my client from being abused in a prison full of males'

Favorite Lousiana Law story.
Went fishing with a guide down in the bayou. This fella was worth twice the price for the funny stories. Made a mint as a guide. His daughter was going to Tulane and some fella dragged her between two buildings at night on her way back to the dorm. She yelling and security grabs the fella, she, (in the fathers words) being a coon arse girl, turns around and takes a swing and breaks the fellas nose.
A week later she gets a legal notice she is being sued. Guide says Im in a panic and I call this judge who comes down here fishing with me. He asks for the case file and says dont worry about it book me for a trip in two weeks we will talk about it.
Judge shows up two weeks later, says its resolved lets fish. They get on the water and a little ways into a bottle and the judge says, my only regret was you werent there to see it.
I brought that lawyer up to the bench before it started and asked him what he was gonna do for a living. Cause you see I had this case moved into my court, and I will have everyone of your cases moved into my court and I dont care how compelling it is.....you will lose. Pretty soon any potential client will realize that......so what are you gonna do for a living?
Said the boy started crying right there. But the judge was serious, no one who brings a case like that should ever be a lawyer.
Now you know why SFP has so much time on his hands.......and you know the rest of the story as Paul Harvey would say.
