Not sure how this season is gonna end up anymore, but it’s starting to feel like one of those “what could’ve been” years.

Losing Moore to elbow surgery hurts the pitching depth more than people realize, and Brown going down with a broken wrist might be the bigger blow with how he was carrying the offense.

You don’t just replace your top arm and your best bat midseason. Still think there’s talent on this team, but man… brutal

No it doesn't. Everyone realizes exactly how much it hurts the pitching depth.

No it was never ever ever ever ever a "what could've have been years"

This group doesn't have the cahones to even wear those letters on the jersey

I wish this team the best but the talent this year just isn't what it has been before hitting and pitching. Losing those two just pretty much sealed the deal.

So I’m guessing your first post didn’t go like you had hoped. It’s been a brutal year. Welcome to the Rant.

Browns average fell off a cliff the last month.

Weve won every game since Brown got removed from the lineup due to injury and having Moore available wouldn’t have made a difference in 2/3s of our SEC games or prevented us from getting our asses handed to us in midweek games where we’ve racked up 5 Quad 4 losses

Point is this season hasn’t been a what could’ve been year, more of a never was. Jay admitted as much last week when he blatantly said he needs to do a better job with the roster. We know now we didn’t have the horses this year to compete

The spinning beer pong idea was pretty stupid anyways. Good luck with your next invention that nobody wants.

Exactly my tongue in cheek point

His being injured is not the reason we’ve sucked this year. He was in the lineup all year and we lost plenty with him. Having him available the remainder of the year just means maybe go just below .500 instead of .333

Honestly I don't think it would’ve really mattered if this team did still have a healthy Moore and Brown all year. Would we have potentially won a couple more games? Maybe, but this team as a whole was still probably not getting out of a Regional regardless. There is just too many holes and problems on this team for two people to make that much of a difference. I mean LSU still already had around 10 losses even with a healthy Moore and Brown so..

With all our present problems(Winning)we sure didn't nee this. But this is sports and it happens all the time. Going to be rough getting into playoffs.

completely disagree with this. Losing your most reliable weekend starter has massive implications on every game played every week. Guys have pitched on the weekends who would've never pitched had Moore been healthy. And then those guys weren't available midweek, and guys pitched midweek who would've not pitched or pitched much less.

Both could be healthy right now and we'd still be in a similar spot.

This team just isn't that good.
