Shreveport police investigating mass shooting in Cedar Grove with multiple fatalities

The suspect, an adult male, is also dead. He was shot at a scene in Bossier Parish. The victims range from 18 months to 14 years old.
Two other adult women were shot in the head and survived. A third person, a young boy, was injured when he jumped from a roof. The initial shooting occurred early Sunday morning in the 300 block of West 79th Street near Linwood Avenue. At 9:30 a.m., at least 30 police units remained on the scene.

It is one thing for this to happen at 2 AM when gangs fight in the parking lot of a bar. Entirely different story when it happens to children. Just terrible…..
