I would say: Frick this guy. I’m not going somewhere to pitch to 1-2 batters once a week, twice at best.

Yea frick him! He’s won 2 championships in 4 years. I don’t want no part of that!!!

Edit: some of you are starting to act towards Jay like Alabama fans did to Saban whenever he would lose his first game of the season. “OMG Saban is washed up!” “It’s time for Saban to retire!!”

Thankfully you don’t think like Tommy White, Skenes, Dickinson, etc. think.

Right, that’s why we’ve been loaded with pitchers the last few years

Jay could counter with:

"Have you heard of Paul Skenes, Kade Anderson, Anthony Eyanson, Grant Taylor, Gage Jump, Griffin Herring, Thatcher Hurd, Luke Holman etc etc?"

If I were a pitcher and I came to lsu and only pitched to 1-2 batters once a week I’d get the hint. Maybe transfer to nicholls

Jay’s handling worked in that inning. Got out of a bad situation with only one run.

Or a D1-level pitcher could look at the current staff situation and see that he could come in and be the ace right away…..

Piece of shite "fans" like you dont deserve to cheer for a team that is LITERALLY the reigning national champs.

if they performed well consistently then they wouldnt be used for matchups only...Cooper Williams has been given every chance to be the first lefty out the pen at worst and a 4th starter at best . benge has shown the potential to walk batters when called upon. most coaches give up on benge after his performances at the end of last year.
