I was thinking this was going to be a Tartaria thread.
Here is a photo of one of the "temporary" buildings that they tore down immediately following the Chicago World's Fair back in the day.
Apparently there was shite like this all over the country back then. All torn down.
That building was something crazy, like 300,000 square feet.

1904 ST Louis worlds fair was the same way. Most everything was temporary There are a few building left in a large park in the West side of St Louis.

It's a shame they built all those beautiful building only to tear them down. Did they use taxpayer money?

So they say. But then again, I've seen pictures reportedly from inside the buildings that show what clearly look like I beam frames. Chicago, St. Louis, San Francisco. It was all over the country. Weird shite.
