Why does anyone pay attention to Moscona. He thinks he knows but he is as clueless as anyone.
I have to say that talk radio is not great in most places. It's people expressing opinions and you know what is said about opinions. Other than opinions it's hearsay, rumors, etc. If a program is well run, there are few if any loose lips.
Saban was great at keeping things quiet. In fact, during his tenure in BR, there were a few "insiders" on the old Tiger Roar site who occasionally dropped real information. Saban had a come to Jesus session with them and the info dried up.

“He pushed the former staff for a commitment, he wanted it desperately. I don’t think, I know…”

Holy shite this guy needs to be brought out to the pasture along with Koki

probably so he can have more time to throw, read the defenses from deeper in the pocket, and increase his ability to scramble and run. He sets up approx. 6 yards deeper than the normal shotgun formation.

Scone is just another Cowherd wannabe, manufacturing drama for attention

He had plenty of sources under Woody/Kelly. Now he has ZERO.
At this point you are better off believing the exact opposite of whatever he has to say.

Posted this on the recruiting board before I saw it here what a clown that guy is. I've defended him in the past, but since he's started doing the Locked On podcast he's gone all in on hot takes and engagement farming.

I love dunking on Moscona as much as anyone, but Pop Houston's dad needs to stay off of social media. If he's going to start responding every time he thinks someone has disrespected his son's ability, dad is never going to last. His son is about to step into a huge spotlight and there will be 100s of opinions given about his son's play. It would be best for him to just ignore it.

Mascona is a colossal douche but the dad is going to have to relax if his kid is going to play QB at LSU. He better never listen to a post-game show if his kid is even in the 2-deep.

I guess Moscona’s first choice was Dunham boy Elijah Haven?

Because he’s a major sports media personality in BR that has been around LSU for a very long time.

This just isn’t true. I’m not a Moscona fan at all, but saying stuff like this is just dumb.

Scone's currently hot boxing a closet with his own farts trying to get in the right head space to reply to this tweet with some smug comment

I have zero allegiance for Moscona, but I watched the entire segment closely and I thought Moscona was very complimentary of Houston. He addressed his height (5-10 1/2) in a positive way, comparing it to Chambliss height, and other successful QB’s 6’ and under. Overall it was a fair and complimentary segment….and if Houston was actively communicating with LSU that he wanted to sign, that’s a damn good thing and nothing to be embarrassed about.

I think dad was a little off base, but we all think our kids are better than they are, even if they are studs.

Totally different era but Brock Berlin did that when he played at Evangel.

agree with this

I didn't hear Moscona, but I doubt he was even attempting to be critical of his son.

Nah he’s a fricking loser that doesn’t know shite. He’s wrong 99% of the time he opens his mouth. If it weren’t for Shea he wouldn’t have a single clue what is going on with football recruiting and I can promise Shea never told him that shite

With the portal, missing on an HS QB prospect doesn't have the consequences it once had. No doubt Haven has the higher ceiling, but he has a long way to go as a QB. Houston is going to start at LSU IMO
