I'd wear that like a badge of honor if I was Hegseth. I mean if you pissed off the Dems enough to file articles of impeachment, you must be doing something right as a Republican.
They did it twice to Trump and he only gained popularity from it.

This is why Trump should care more about the midterms. He won't be the only one getting impeached. Hegseth, Kash, Mullin, and the new AG will all be targets. No they won't be thrown out, but it will make it nearly impossible for the administration to do anything.
