Propose legislation that will be filled with pork and get voted down. I guess it’s better than doing nothing but everyone knows this won’t go anywhere.

What’s the freaking point of this? You don’t need DOGE to figure out why dealing with the IRS is mind numbing. Just look at the employees.

Is DOGE still a thing? Seemed like the Democrats made a huge fuss over their pet agencies get gutted, called Elon the real president, Trump and Elon started feuding and Elon subsequently left any involvement in it the effort. Now you dont hear shite about it.

Lay off a bunch of them, then complain the agency doesn't work. Amazing.

65% of IRS employees are female.
12% of employees are black

The IRS workforce is more diverse than the national civilian labor force, with over 56% identifying as racial/ethnic minorities

In other words, this is messing with undeclared reparations.

Rampant at all levels of government.

My Cpa employees a retired IRS agent to help him do taxes. Super nice guy. I’m not sure how we got around to it. Maybe I asked him why he retired and then kept working. He said that he had been there many years and was a mid-level manager. The IRS hired minorities and women and put them on his team and he would be instructed to teach them how to do their jobs. And then when it came time for promotions every couple of years, the people he had been teaching were promoted and would continue to climb the ladder while he stayed stuck in a lower role….

I think that may be by design. Americans have short memories. You let them fain over the initial activity. Move Elon out to appease the sky screamers, but keep doing all the shite you started. Nobody is paying attention. That is how we got the fraud in the first place.

I replied promptly to a letter and sent in a response to the irs letter as instructed, disputing an amount they say I owed. While they reviewed the response I wasn’t supposed to accrue interest. They took months to send another letter denying the dispute and added interest for all the months they took to respond. I called and they refused to take the added interest off. Assholes

Misleading title.... I think Burchett is a good guy and wish we had more like him, but he can't "move" anything on his own.
