Media coverage on the Laura Bullis murder in ATL

Holy smokes, I did a brief internet search and this appears accurate. One of the listed outlets finally covered it TODAY, probably because they realized social media was throwing shade at them

A friend of a friend used to work with Lauren. Word he got was that she was walking her dog when the guy just shot and stabbed her and then shot and killed the dog.

I responded to the thread on this in the O-T lounge.
She’s from Zachary, Louisiana and I used to work with her before she moved to Atlanta in 2017.
She was such a wonderful person and truly a delight to be around.
This is such a senseless tragedy.
The POS who murdered her, another female, and critically wounded a homeless man within 6 hours of each other is a convicted felon who was still on probation. This guy never should’ve been set free.
Our DA offices need to do better.

Um, I would never argue that the MSM is not biased. But aren’t the two stories completely different?
The offender in the older story was LEO. The offender in this most recent story is an evil predator who’s mentally sick.
There’s plenty of evidence out there for a biased media argument. I’m not sure this is.
I could be wrong as I didn’t dig very deep into the story provided. So I’m open to change my mind.

Why is one any more newsworthy than the other? I'd think the public would want to know about random killings for no reason (really, it's most likely because she was white) just as much about a criminal being killed by police while resisting arrest.
You most likely think the Floyd story is more newsworthy because you've been conditioned to think it is by the MSM.

The media is overrun with advocates looking for social justice causes to take up. A black man dies under the custody of a white cop? NEWS! (because it "proves" their worldview of "black=victim")
Some white dies at the hands of someone black? Not news. (because it disproves their worldview)
