I finally discovered the origin of the word ‘BAW’

Wandering thru a mall this afternoon in Southeast Asia and i stumbled across this place .. ‘Bake A Wish’.. aka BAW.. apparently it’s a chain with many locations, but it’s the first one ive seen..

Their pastries look pretty legit..with the exception of these particular ones… yikes

Currently in Bangkok on a stopover for a couple days.. yes, mall culture here is next level.. in pretty much every Asian country ive been to.. it actually kinda reminds me of American malls in the 1980s, in how people congregate there for shopping or for meeting up or catching a movie, or just for no reason at all.. plus the weather in most parts of Asia is more hot & humid than South Louisiana so people of all ages often hang out at malls just for the air conditioning .

Agree. I lived in Kuala Lumpur for two years. The malls had grocery stores, dentists and doctors and hardware stores with all of the usual stores you see in malls typically.
