CULTURE SHIFT: Catholic Faith SURGES in America as Patriots REJECT Woke Ideology

Now we see one of the major reasons the globalists clergy are being so politically vocal.

The Catholic Church is experiencing an unprecedented surge in cultural influence across America, forcing even secular journalists to become amateur "Vatican watchers" as they struggle to understand this massive shift away from woke ideology.
What was once a niche field of journalism called "Vaticanology" - the study of Vatican politics and Catholic Church inner workings - has exploded into mainstream coverage as millions of Americans embrace traditional Catholic values in direct rejection of the Left's radical agenda.
This isn't just about Sunday mass attendance, Patriots. This is about a fundamental cultural realignment that has Democrats and their media allies scrambling to decode why Americans are flocking to institutions that preach traditional marriage, the sanctity of life, and moral absolutes.
quote:
Why the Sudden Catholic Boom?
The timing isn't coincidental. After four years of Biden's assault on religious liberty and the Left's relentless push to normalize every form of degeneracy imaginable, everyday Americans are hungering for something real, something rooted in actual truth rather than the gender-fluid fantasies of college campuses.
Young Americans especially are discovering that 2,000 years of Catholic teaching offers more wisdom than whatever nonsense is trending on TikTok this week. They're finding that confession beats therapy, that traditional marriage works better than hookup culture, and that objective moral truth trumps relativistic word salad.
quote:
"The same media that mocked Catholics for decades is now desperately trying to understand why we're winning the culture war," one Catholic commentator noted.
quote:
The surge has forced mainstream journalists - most of whom probably couldn't tell you the difference between a bishop and a cardinal - to suddenly become experts on Vatican politics. It's almost comical watching secular reporters try to decode papal encyclicals when they can't even figure out basic biology.

Thank God Trump thought he was just a member of the Red Cross or else this would have really upset all this anti-woke Catholics.

He's obviously bullshitting about thinking he was a Red Cross doctor. But that doesn't make what he posted blasphemous. People should be wondering why he's trying to draw attention to the Red Cross.

Pray tell…

Well, since you asked nicely. If I'm not mistaken he specifically called out the Red Cross in relation to Iran.
Speaking of "follow the EOs" in this context. It was only yesterday that Rubio announced that they are going to sidestep NGOs like the Red Cross and begin giving aid directly to foreign governments.
Dead ringer.

Explains why the boomer evangelicals have been lashing out recently, too.

Being a Catholic is awesome! I can do any damn thing I want as long as I make it to Sunday. A little visit with the priest in a box and 7 Our Fathers and 13 Hail Marys later, I am absolved of everything!

Can attest to this just based on our local parish which is tied to the university here. It’s been SRO for our masses for the last year. If you’re not there 15 minutes early, you don’t get a seat and have to stand in the back and along the walls.

Dang, your priest is a hard arse. My last penance was to thank God for the blessings in my life.
fun fact: you don't need to do your penance for absolution to stick.

Decode?
God forbid people find happiness in traditional things that bring stability, comfort, and clarity during trying times.
Speaking of trying times...for a lot of people moving away from these things above is what led to a lot of it in the first place!

As with most organizations in real life, the voices, concerns, opinions, culture, and desires of the people at the ground level match that of the intent of the organization, yet the leadership is so disconnected.
i.e. not much on the opinion of the last 2 Popes, but our local Priests get the message. Even the Bishop is disconnected at times.

I grew up in St. Aloysius in Baton Rouge and my parents have told me the same is occurring there again for the first time in many years

Seems like a great time then to pick a fight with the Catholic Church, especially having the convert to Catholicism VP take charge in it.

...as opposed to what? That is by far tougher than what non Catholics believe needs to be done for forgiveness.
Hell, being a non-believer (you) is the easiest because forgiveness isn't even a concern.

I know most Parishes had record numbers of RCIA candidates and baptisms this Easter. Everyone I know involved in the church are still scratching their heads as to what is happening, because it wasn't Mexicans or Latinos.
Now it all adds up.

He’s living in Utah. It’s likely he’s wearing his magic underwear and protesting the local Dunkin’ Donuts as I type this.

Knew I would get a few that can't take a joke.
FYI...I am a believer.

Nope. Not even close.
The rest is just you being even more stupid.

You talking about Trump's comments on the Pope?
